Hi everyone!

We got hubby's passport with shiny visa in it!! I screamed! Can't believe it is all over....

We had to watch it a few times to make sure it was real lol

All the evidence we sent was sent back to us and it was properly organized in different envelopes lol. Our cards were in one envelope, pics in one, proof of communication in the other etc. At least they did something right!!

LOL.....finally!!! So happy for you folks FAD .......thank you Jesus. How long did they give him to land? In my hubby's PPR letter they said he had to land by the time his meds expired which would be Jan. 18, 2014, but when we got the actual visa it is valid until March 2014. That was a bit weird, but either way we wanted him to be "home" for Christmas so it's all good. Blessings.

:'(...boo hoo, No worries my girl ;D, the excitement is pretty overwhelming, I understand. Let me check my stats on the PPR call, it all happened really fast for us. Not sure what happens in Kingston but I am guessing they put a push on things for Christmas. Blessings.

Ok as per my timeline see below:

AOR Received via e-mail: Sept. 10, 2013; ECAS went to "in process" Sept. 24, 2013; Passport Requested via e-mail: Oct. 7, 2013; Passport Hand Delivered to POS Oct. 15, 2013, Decision Made on ECAS: Oct. 27, 2013 and
call from POS to pick up PP with VISA ISSUED: Nov. 4, 2013

Thanks for sharing so far for me it's a bit backwards nov 23,2012 received application nov 14 started processing application. Maybe by next week we might have a car for passport.

Passport with visa issued 11.11.2013...and COPR...plus all our pics..
Have been thanking God all afternoon...
Also my flight which was already booked for 26th Nov...will be my landing date..
God is and will always be an awesome God...

OK HI EVERYONE.THIS IS MY FIRST TIME ON THIS SITE,I JUST STUMBLED UPON IT DOING RESEARCH AND I AM REALLY HAPPY WITH ALL THE INFORMATION THAT I GOT ON HERE JUST READING THE POSTS.I AM SOOOO VERY DESPERATE.MY HBBY AND I HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR TWO YEARS AND WEYRE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 5,WE ALSO HAVE A TWO YEAR OLD CANADIAN DAUGHTER,BTW HES CANADIAN.I LIVED IN CANADA SINCE I WAS I8 I UNFORTUNATELY OVERSTAYED A WHILE BEFORE I APPLIED FOR REFUGEE AND WE ALL KNOW HOW THAT TURNED OUT FOR ME,BADD.I WAS GIVEN A REMOVEL ORDER.LEFT CANADA IN 2012.IM NOW 24 IT HAS BEEN A STRUGGLE SINCE MY HUBBY VISITES EVERY 6 MONTHS.AND OUR APPLICATION WAS SENT OUT ONLY HIS YEAR.HOW LONG AM I GONNA BE EXPECCTING TO WAIT UNTIL I HEAR BCK FROM AND I JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF BECAUSE OF MY REFUGEE APPLICATION WOULD THAT SET ME BACK ALOT OR BE THE CAUSE ANY NEGATIVE RESULTS I MAY GET :'(

They gave him till July 2014 to land because they extended his meds till that time.

Hi Lonelygirl;

Until the trinifam sees your query; let me extend a warm welcome on their behalf.

It would be good to indicate your timelines in a little more details for e.g. date app was submitted; date of medical; date you received an acknowledgement that your application was received by POS etc.

This would give the trinifam more info in order to help you.

Member CdnandTrini ; also has a link to a spreadsheet as her signture. This will give you a guide as to the processing times POS has been doing applications so far. However CIC website says 20 months and as they keep saying everyone's case is different.

Hi Lonelygirl,

Welcome to the forum. I don't think your removal order will hurt you in terms of success in the end... It may delay your process a bit if you have to do an ARC but we've had lots of people on here that have 1 year exclusion orders, deportations, etc. What you'll have to do is just do a thorough application that is honest and complete. Like Kadi said, you'll have to provide more information for more specific guidance from our "experts". You'll find lots of support here.

One little note for the forum... It is a little hard to read when you write in all CAPS and sometimes others interpret it as "yellng". I'm sure that sounds funny but it is true.
