Immigration trauma ZP!!! It must be like leaving prison.....always looking over our shoulders....sad but true. :'(

Any helpful advice for landing that you wish you knew beforehand and want to share?? Enquiring minds... Blessings.

Hahaha yup, it's definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.

Landing advice? Hmmmm...my husband's went pretty smoothly and quickly, I think like 15 mins or less even. He literally said "I'm here to land...ok", handed over his COPR and they stamped him in. He spent more time discussing sports with the officer than actual landing stuff lol. For the one waiting at the airport, bring something to read/watch, it'll take your mind off of looking up every 2 seconds to see if they're coming out yet! And do something big to celebrate your landing night...you only get one (hopefully!) and you'll always remember it ;D

That's a relief... (re: RCMP check). My hubby has a very unique name so I'm sure they won't find dupes .

As for making for a special landing story... my best friend asked me what will be the first thing we do when hubby gets back (she said, aside from the obvious) and I didn't know what to say... it will be so strange but in the most blessed way possible. We will go for dinner for sure and celebrate. I will anticipate we'll go for a nice long drive because he misses his car almost as much as he misses me (i'm exaggerating a bit ). It is overwhelming to think about, especially knowing that we've got a few more months ahead of us. He is lucky though in one sense--he'll miss the dead of winter (again!). But as I've seen from others on here before, he doesn't mind the winter... it is me who HATES it. It just started and I'm already ready for summer (minus the SUPER heat).

Oh, one other thing he is lucky for... MISSING THIS ROB FORD JUNK.

Hi LouisFam, you and FAD are both waiting on tenterhooks for those PPT's to be returned. I think the millslu's (St. Lucia as well) was returned 4 weeks to the day so it may happen next week !! Friday's are half days at that office I believe so hang in there !! You guys have a cute little pic on the bottom of your ticker / Blessings.

I will not be posting.....lol......hate having my picture taken and in my GCMS notes the IO even saw that and commented, saying not as many photos of me as others!! If it were not for having to submit them to immigration we would prob. only have 10 wedding photos as well. Of course I have lots of photos/video of hubby.
