Hey Everyone,

Hope all is well. It's such a gloomy day today....Rain!! Rain!!!! Rainnnnnn!!!!!

My first day was great. A bit busy but not too demanding. My colleagues are extremely great....very warm and welcoming. Met so many people today....A bit overwhelming but i appreciate most of them coming to see who the newbie is....Meeeeeeee!!! Lol :P . I'm ready for Day 2 tomorrow.

@cdguyana I didn't order GCMS....Just be sure to gather all your proofs of your relationships....(Call Logs, Cards, Pics, IMs...just whatever you have) to prove that your relationship is in fact genuine. Go over the details that you put in your application. If you go through my posts on my interview, you can get even more feedback. Mines was done on March 10th I think of this year. Happy searching!!!!

Wishing everyone a blessed Tuesday....I almost wrote Monday.. :P .....Blaming it on that holiday yesterday...Hahaha

FYI I applied for my gsm notes on July 11th and got them on August 13th... By email

Yes, it is on the Fedex truck at the moment waiting to be delivered... ;D

Congrats again Natley,

Admirable glad you had a great first day. Just take it in stride. I was up late lastnight following the QC elections..Oh loss the language police will probably be out in full effect. That woman Marois is all bout her beloved French language being maintained. I know Harper will never give her control over immigration, at least I'm hoping he has the good sense not to. All Quebecois and Anglophones should live in harmony and that's only my opinion..Anyhow enough about that.
Anyone with anymore good news today, any updates?..Come on POS..wake up..summer is over.

Thank you all!

I was expecting hubby to jump of joy... and that did not happen. He's happy but I guess in its own way.
I was expecting him to be on the next plane to Montreal, and that is not happening either. Actually, I have no clue when he will be on the plane. He took all the excitment out of me about this whole process and welcoming him. Now, not sure I care when he gets home...

I got him his appt for his driver's license, and now he is mad because they have him redo the computer and road test. He as in his mind that he could get it switch in ontario, but after I read on their website, it is pretty much the same as Quebec. Or do anyone knows???

As for me yet no news from POS ....
But after yesterday QC election I'm glad I have my hubby CSQ in hand... Trust me we don't know what that lady will do...

Wake up POS vacation is over bring more family together

Have a nice evening folks

Awesome news!

Regarding hubby's reaction, I saw something similar from someone else on the forum (different VO). They got their approval super fast and were both stunned...she was incredibly happy, he was saying he didn't want to leave for another 3 months. They worked it out n he came up a month later. Last I saw, they were doing really well and he was settling in great :D All that to say, I'm sure you guys will work it out!

Greetings Forum Fam,

How is everyone doing?

@Bajeinwaiting Thank you :). I'll be sure to take your advice.

@ Natley I think it has to do with the reality of it all settling in. You're so eager to immigrate that when the process is over it's like you're not ready to say goodbye to your old life......sooooo soon. It's like you want to go but when it's time to go you don't want to go.... A sort of wishy washy feeling.

Good evening forum people;)

@natley..: I'm at 2/3 of the process just waiting after POS.. And my hubby is saying u know hunn I'm happy here in Anguilla... I like it... And me I'm like but u wanna come here right ??? He is like yaaa but it's long now ... But at least he knows that the quality of living is much better here in Canada and also to raise kids... So I guess it's just like saying goodbye sometime it's not easy...

Hmmm...I guess I can see where one might be ambivalent about leaving their home and setting up shop in a new country. My husband and I are fairly young and still getting started in life, so all he sees is his life ahead of him in Canada with me, not really leaving much behind. He'd get on that plane with literally an hour's notice! :D But...I can understand that for someone who has built their life and profession in one country, the prospect of starting over can be daunting. Best wishes to everyone going through this process, from newly applied to newly landed!

Congrats Natley, You are home and dry. whoo hooo

Still no news for me...what can we do when POS ignores you...they have my husband file for 15 months now...i called ottawa who confirmed they cannot do anything, i can only wait for POS to emailed me...what if they dont for another 15 month!! And our case is soo strait foward...

Im lucky my job allows me to live inmy hisband country while we wait but i miss home soooo much!
Any idea what more can i do to shake them up!!

Wow...15 months really is a long time! Do you know of anything that might be delaying it, like complex background checks or anything? You could get your MP involved to get some answers, but be warned that this will further delay your file, so I personally consider it a last ditch effort. Have you ordered your gcms notes? If they have some concern, it should show up there.

Should hubby filled out the B4 form if he's only travelling with 2 suitcases, and nothing to follow after he lands?

Thanks
