Good evening everyone just a small update.... :D

Our MP's office called this afternoon with news that POS emailed to say they have no received hubbys background checks!! (it only took a year ::) I hope to God this ends real soon.

Oh wow...just read my own post and it should say now received. As in they have them and hope to be done soon lol

Hi Everyone,
I have been reading and trying to catch up on the forum.

I took a direct flight from Barbados to Montreal. Landed at the airport and the customs officer told me, he has never seen anyone immigrating without the visa in their passport, even Americans have visa. Sigh. I guess he wasn't aware of the changes where CIC may not ask for your passport from visa exempt countries.
From there he sent me to the immigration office, and they looked at my papers and sent me through. Then I went to collect my bags and then I go as if I was exiting the airport.

Then they send you to another office where they ask you questions about what you are bringing in to the country. I already prepared the list, but it still a bit of wait. Then I had to go to a little side office, the officer talked about what to expect in Quebec like learning french and I was signed up for an orientation session. I have not been as yet, I am attending this wk. My husband met me with all my winter gear.
The whole process was ok, but I was wondering how quick it is. I arrived in Montreal at 11pm so there were not many pplz in the lines but I was wondering how it is in the day.

Come on POS, we want more families reunited!

GOOD MORNINGGGGGGGGG!!!
