Hi Babybaba,

I am a FSW applicant. I submitted my docs to POS in Sept 2010 and have not received an acknowledgement to date. Some of the FSW applicants from POS meet on this forum immigration.ca/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=73&title=trinidad-and-tobago-cases you should join us here.

when did you submit your docs to POS? any response from them to date?

I submitted my docs to Sydney Canada on the 15th Dec 2010, I got my PER on the 9th March and I got a letter on November 14th from the POS visa office saying that they have received my application (AOR)...my ECAS shows "In Process". What about you?

Sorry I havent wrote in a while.....Hubby is picking up letter tonight, we still dont know what it says : But I will update everyone this weekend. We are hoping its for the med re-do and HOPEFULLY the PPR at the same time just to keep things moving. Hubby has been gone now for 14 months

2 weeks until i leave to go pick up my husband

been crazy busy cleaning and preparing for him to get here. had to go out and get lots of warm clothes for him.

but i am super excited and i cant wait to share his landing experience with all of you

last month POS was actually getting some work done hopefully it wasnt just to fill a quota and they keep things moving

We definitely need to make a S/S and forum for the FSW applicants going through POS. Any FSW applicants who wna take the initiative to do so?

UPDATE!!!

Hi everyone, ok the letter stated that he is to get a new medical and drop off his passport!!!!

However, this is where things get tricky (never easy with immigration)..... They want him to land before his daughters medical expires .... Oh btw that's February 4th!!! Wtf!!! How is that even possible!!??? So his medical is booked for Tuesday and he will hand deliver everything to the immigration office. So after that I guess it's out of our hands. In the letter it stated that it takes 2 to 4 weeks for them to make a final decision. Why does immigration need to take the fun out of everything? I'm excited but now the worry and anxiousness is taking over .... any thoughts on what we should do to insure everything is completed and immigration calls before February 4th???

Ohhh Lorddddd....The rush begins @ LDWaiting. Is your hubby in Trinidad or he'll hv to fly there?

@Admirable .... He will be flying here. He currently lives in Trinidad. I'm not concerned about getting a ticket for him, but I am concerned that immigration won't call for his passport pickup in time. Bur I talked to hubby today and basically figured it really out of our hands once everything is dropped off. Thing is his daughter isn't even coming.... Makes no sense to me! I sent Leon a msg to see what we should do, if anything.

Book a ticket for him to fly to Canada before Feb 4th, and include his itinerary WITH the passport when he drops it off. That means POS will be obliged to turn everything around and return to him so he can comply with the condition.

KG frequently requests an itinerary from people they want to leave and land before their medicals run out, not sure why POS didn't just ask him for one.
