Hi Forum Family. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and here's wishing you a fabulous new year.
All's was well with me as I was able to spend the holidays with the wife. It's nice to be in CA, but it is really cold with freezing snow.

Hi Everyone!!

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!!!

Well I have an update, but its not much....yet

My partner emailed the immigration office at the end of November as to what is happening with his application since we have not heard anything since August and now he needs a new medical. They emailed him back last week stating that a "package"
was mailed to his mailing address on December 12th. We dont know what this "package" is ....... and as of today there is nothing in the mail.

Has anyone had to get a new medical? and is this what they send in the mail, a "package" ...... also, Im afraid this is a rufusal ...lol I know, paranoid!!! I think it is probably a medical request, and fingers crossed his PPR. Would he get a rufusal without an interview? Does this happen?

Any questions or comments to help me with my nerves??? lol

LD Waiting...my husband redid his medical in August. The package your waiting on is just the form and instruction sheets for the redo.

Hello everyone...

I emailed the RCMP this morning to find out what the hold up is with processing our background checks. They sent me me another address to send the inquiry to and this is part of the response

The RCMP is currently processing a high volume of Criminal Record Checks and Vulnerable Sector Verifications. The time needed to process a Criminal Record check is twelve weeks. The time needed to process a Vulnerable Sector Verification is nine weeks. If the fingerprints match to a criminal record, wait times may last as long as four months. Thank you

"As long as for months"??? WTF...we've been waiting 10 now

Morning Forum Family

@SmokiJoe Wishing you a great vacay even though its brick. After all, it is winter. Do layer up.

@LD Waiting It looks like a medical request. I hope you get a ppr in the package as well. Less waiting.

@Can4Vincy Yes RCMP Checks can take very long sometimes. You've waited this long so hopefully that background check will be completed pretty soon.

Wishing everyone a blessed and prosperous 2012.

Happy New Year everyone...heres hoping for the best!!!
