@ Trini It's a copy/paste error alright. Her ppr was also in Dec and not July. I believe it got mixed up with GTWifey. Will edit it soon.

Just a quick question. My pp will be expiring July 2012. If I don't get anycorrespondence by l8 Jan should I renew it immediately due to the 6 mth mark or it shouldn't matter as long as it is valid?

Btw will try to have 2 processing times.
1. App filed to visa (total processing time)
2.File xfer to visa (total mths @ VO)

what about ur meds have those expired yet? also i say to renew the pp better sooner than later

Yes they are expired. I won't hv to wait a long time when getting my pp renewed. I can get it done in a day if needed.

I logged into e-cas. For the first time i have an update for application for PR. It states my app was received March 17, 2011. (I already knew that but I never had an update). I didn't log on in a week. They didn't respond to my emails but they finally updated my e-cas. It has been unavailable forever.

I will send an email requesting my file # once again because I don't have an AOR from POS. I haven't tried logging in using my info yet. I could never get in. I've been using the receipt # and hubby's info.

Well back to working on the s/s.

Thanks Saka. It's not much of an update but at least my ecas is up and running. No more not available as my status. I just logged in using my info for the first time now and I was able to get in using my client id.

I would really love you guys to check out the s/s and make sure your t/l is accounted for correctly. There are many empty rows and we can't complete if the info is missing. I've been having to read through tons of posts to get info that should be placed on your profiles. Sometimes it's not even there.

@Trini I'm looking fwd to my 1st letter then. I hope it's not an interview req *fingers crossed*

Last night I sent POS a cse and a general enquiry. They responded this morning with my file number. Can you say finally!!!!!! They responded to the cse and not the general. The email also states that they will continue processing my app and I will be advised in due course as to the next step(s) in processing. Woooohooooo!

Hi Everyone!
Just thought I would drop by and say HI
Well...on the 21 or 20 December 2010 I got my approval AND I was going MAD lol. My hubby was going to visit me and we already had paid for trips and I was so disappointed that I could not immediately go back to Canada with him.

But I have been here since February this year now almost a year and I have to say...the weather is a biAtch but otherwise its okay.

I got a job and its been a tough road (oh the drama of learning so many new things!) but next year hubby and I want to buy a home, try to conceive and I have exams to write to get my Canadian certifications equivalent to my home certifications.

I have to say that the first 2 years will be tough when joining your spouse. Getting settled...is hard.

!!!UPDATE!!!

We finally got the pp back with visa this morning via DHL. My husband is landing on Thursday at Pearson. OMG, I'm so excited! Just in time for Christmas and my b-day! Thank you POS....its about time!
