Hi all,

can someone suggest after landing on Canada grounds as a PR how long does it take to receive the actual PR CARD itself? Boy, does immigration matters take time, but the moment you mess up, its letters after the other or garnish!

48 business days so 2 months and maybe a week
*The processing time to receive the new PR card is shown in business days. This means it does not include weekends or holidays.

Hi forum friends!

So my hubby landed last night! He landed at 8:02pm and came out at 9:10pm. He took a little over an hr b/c there were alot of ppl coming into to Canada at that time.

The actual landing process was easy and the officers were friendly. He was only asked to confirm his address and was given the 'welcome to canada' bag with information for a newcomer.

Thank you for all your support and advice. I wish and hope for the best for everyone on these forums.

hi guys just to give an update and a question. I'm scheduled for an interview next month. however they asked me to bring documents supporting communication with me and my wife for a few years. we already sent them all our original documents/proof. the only thing i prob have now is call records after the time we submitted to present. should i just give them that or is it a standard email they send everybody?

for what years they didnt specify?, also you dont have proof of communication from when ur app was rec'd to now start compiling now

they asked from 2007. we did give them everything we had prior to our app being submitted. as i said we dont have much after. only call records and emails.

Hi, when was your ap received by POS, did you receive the request by regular mail? Im trying to figure out how long they will take to get to my file.
