Thanks guys..Hope we all have a speedy process..Kedeisha I joined the Sept forum. I have to wait to get my CSQ also so that is another process before POS gets my file.. I hope that part will not take long. Anyone knows how long that process takes once Mississauga approves the sponsor?

Hi All,
I have been reading this forum for a while to bring myself up to date. I submitted my app in July and was approved this week. I met my husband in grad school and we are going to be living in Quebec. We haven't submitted our CSQ forms as yet, we will work on that this weekend.
From what I have read on the forum, the application may/ may not be delayed because of the CSQ. In some cases the VOs performed the relevant checks before the Selection Certificate arrived.

Welcome Bajan wife....Where is your husband from? I see from your name we are from Barbados or am I wrong? Wow I just submitted my app which means that I have 2 months to wait for first stage approval before I get my papers to fill out from Quebec..that is going by your time line. Are you applying inland or outland? I'm applying outland

I am Barbadian. We applied outland and I am currently in Barbados. We plan to live in Montreal also. Hopefully the processing time for the first stage approval will decrease and you don't have to wait 2 months.

I am glad for this forum, it helps to know that we have each other through this process whereas alot of other people don't understand how stressful the whole immigration process can be.
