My e-cas says "Decision made" under sponsorship approval.
Hubby's says "Application received" as of April 22nd along with his medical.

I do remember before I got approval on June 15th that it said this information because I've been checking the status every single day.

I know that once they receive it in POS, it will say "In Process" according to this table.

Honestly, I just stopped paying attention to that table. My status was like that (application received under PR app) until the day hubby got PPR... But I do know that Trinidad received the application because hubby had sent an email to change his home address with them and they acknowledged it well before PPR came and when his status changed to "in process".

I trust your app's there and they are working on it. Just a matter of time before they acknowledge you... As far as I can see, that how this whole thing works.

I know how hard the wait can be. Second guessing... "is everything filled out right?", "will they approve us"... etc. Then the factor of missing your spouse and the thoughts of "what happens if they don't approve us?" I been through it. lol... But trust me it will work out. Also looks like they are processing 2015 apps much faster... (Looks like 4 months) based on my own process timeline and what others have posted. So I trust that the whole thing will be done in no time... At least I hope for that.

canbaby how long after sending in your passport did you receive it from pos?

Hey! Hubby sent in passport on the 3rd of June (POS received it on the 8th) and they sent it back on the 15th. So I guess 12 days after it was sent (a week after it was received). Not long at all (felt like a lifetime though).

I'm sure you'll get your PP back soon. By the looks of it most members on here have gotten it within a month after they got the request.

Hey hubby sent off his passport and they received it June 12. I just checked Ecas and it now changed to decision made. When you click the status to see more details and its says "A decision has been made. The office will contact you concerning this decision"

Is yours written the same because they make it sound like there is concerns the way they word it lol??

hey brit! any word from POS on your husband's passport? i am so anxious about mine. i check the return everyday hoping to see some updates

I am worried it will take a long time because we have an FBI report that we have to submit but I don't want to send it to POS because I don't even know if they have his file. If I just send the report it might just sit there or worse get lost somewhere....

Yes Im checking ecas multiple times a day, I feel you.
And I totally agree ! Just wait until they acknowledge you before you send in that report.
Btw that FBI report isn't mandatory for everyone right ? My husband and I just did what was requested which was to get a police certificate.

We did the FBI report because he is currently in New York. He has been in the US since the beginning of 2014, we had requested that they process his application through the US but they sent it to POS because he is only on temporary status in the US. We needed the FBI report because he was living in the US other than that we would have just used the certificate of character from Trinidad (which we had to get as well).

I hate waiting. I am hoping that the next communication will be a request for his passport and FBI report. They have everything else.

I know... I just hope it is processed quicker than the 17 months that it says on the CIC site! From what I can see on the forums here there really aren't a lot of people that are going through the POS office. I have hopeful that means we will get through like some of the others on here like - I am shocked to see 5-6 months!

That is what we are hoping for as well. Last Christmas he was only here for 4 days... not much time but a least we were together.
We were hoping that we could vacation in Trinidad for Christmas as two Canadians! lol

That's so sweet.
My hubby has never been to Canada so it will be his first for everything .
