Hey everyone need a little advice here on what to do. :-X

So as some of you already know POS requestd some additional documents for my husband right. Its been a month now since we sent them off and I have not heard back from them as yet. Also his medical is gonna expire the end of this month and I know some of you have gotten an extension or you just had to do it over again. I have always heard people saying do not email POS if you dont need to because that takes time away from your file as they have to review your file to answer your question.

Do you guys think i should email them or just wait??

Hi Guys

Wanted to update you on my situation now. We won the appeal in Sep-13 and Hubby was asked to send in his passport and other documents to visa office and he sent it in Dec-13. Hubby got back his passport and everything else from port of Spain on 12-May-14. HUBBY IS FINALLY COMING HOME. GOD IS SO GOOD

Happy weekend to all. One more week down!

I have a small update, we found out yesterday that our CSQ was approved on May 12. On Monday, May 12, we saw ECAS showed medical received.

@brit...if they are processing arc, they may need a bit more time but at the same time, I learned my lesson to not wait too long. It won't hurt to ask...

We got emails today requesting us to redo medicals and ARC... which does suck with regards to time and money (it is almost 1000 EC for the medical) but is mostly 100% awesome!!!

Our only issue is that for the ARC, the form asks us to attach a copy of the departure order and confirmation of departure... well, hubby was not given these as he was "escorted" to his flight when he departed. On his notes that we requested, they do allude to this ("date of departure order" and "confirmed departure on such and such date")... so we are going to have to request copies these, and I just know now that this going to be a runaround b/w CIC and CBSA and CIC and CBSA... I've tried to do a few searches on this forum but has anyone ever seen where specifically we could get these documents?

Overall we are happy... frustrated we couldn't have been one of the fast ones but happy it is nearing completion.

Can-Vinc!!! So happy to hear things sound like they are moving forward positively now and you and hubby will be reunited soon. I wish I could help more with a concise answer to your question but I would start with the CBSA at this link - http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/security-securite/violation-infraction-eng.html#s4_1.

The thing is you will likely need some kind of authorization to get answers on behalf of your hubby - call CBSA/CIC and ask them what is required. Also the MP can do this (or at least might get you an answer) if hubby signs an authorization for them. Not sure if the authorization to act as his designate - re: the sponsorship application is sufficient or a power of attorney or maybe your hubs can even e-mail them. I am sure this is not an entirely unheard of situation and you may also want to post your question as a topic in the main thread of the forum. Maybe PM chickie72 on the JA thread?? She seems to have a lot of info. about ARC's I believe her hubby needed one as well. Congratulations and blessings. :-*

Just working my buttt offf trying to pay off all the debt thats built up lol sighs long distance is really expensive I hope cic realizes that.

Anyways progres report on us..
hubby has been here two months now wooooooo hes busy working complaining about how he gets taxed and things are expensive lol. Hes gotten his license now hes become my personal chauffeur lmao. Other than that just trying to fix our lives were still waiting on his pr card however most othrr things have come in.

Hi guys sobmy interview was a success but it was an intense one. I went in process on may 5 but while I was at the interview she asked me to redo the rcmp because the one I sent in is expired. Got expired last months urgh. So I know there a digital was to do it because I heard louisfam testing she received it in 6 weeks but louisfam is Mia . Can anyone guide me please
