what is your timeline for processing in POS? Man sometimes wish i married a man in Cuba, they are getting thru in 5 months! LOL just saying but not really true.....ok let me switch that, i wish our VO was as quick at the Cuba one.....that sounds much better.....Cuba not chocolaty enough for me hahahahaha

It's Mrs Millslu again.
Well, my husband and I had a crazy day yesterday.
First things first, we finally received our GCM notes. Finally! :-\
They sent an email yesterday indicating that we needed to send them another consent form.
So we jumped at that, sent it to them via email and like magic, they released the notes electronically in like minutes. I was utterly shocked.

Well as a result of our notes, we know our sponsorship is approved because the IM documented that she is satisfied and feels our relationship is geniune.
Now onto the ARC.

It doesnt really say whats happening with the ARC. It says that "PA requires an ARC and to send ARC fee to be cashed" that occurred on May 22nd. Now remember our interview occurred on May 8th.

Then is reads that ARC fees were cashed on June 20th.

My question is......do you think they have started processing our ARC, because my husband feels they have yet to start it because our notes do not reflect nor definitively, that they started processing the ARC.

We received an email on July 30th after sending them a case specific enquiry, "acknowledging reciept of ARC fees and documents, however your application is still in process". So to me that means, ARC is in process??? What do you think?????

Other then that, our GCM notes do not really say much more than that. It talks a lot about our files history, and it was not in chronological order so i found it to be confusing. As well as a lot of abbreviations I do not understand.

Please share your thoughts because the bubbly "Millslu" is no longer bubbling anymore. I think he's going through a depression. I'm worried about him, i just pray that God will just smile down on all of us to end this tumultuous process.

Also, what does the abbreviation RPRF mean???

RPRF mean Right to Permanent Residence Fees

Is there a bring forward date on your last outgoing or incoming correspondence about the ARC in your notes?

about half way thru, you should have a heading that says incoming and then another that says outgoing: on mine for the ARC request the due date(bring forward date) is October 13th I think, that is when they will look at my file again to see if we paid the arc fee and then continue on with our application.

Well first off...CONGRATS on a successful interview! Take some time to enjoy that and the fact it means you guys are soooo near the end! Keep coming back to that thought whenever you get discouraged! You passed the biggest hurdle: they WILL approve you...no more if's, just WHEN! Celebrate that

As for the other stuff, the one thing I have noticed with POS is that although it seems to drag on forever in the early stages, once they've determined that you are eligible for PR, they move pretty quickly. Now keep in mind that often time things required at this point are beyond their control and/or involve other offices (e.g. med redo's) so while it may seem from notes and such that nothing's happening, something is going on. Also, the gcms notes are not always updated in real time (I know...annoying!) Case in point our notes entered in June/July did not show up there until end of September, so don't be discouraged if they seem blank. I'm not super familiar with the ARC process, but I do believe they are handling their part and are working actively to finalize your case. I know the stress weighs heavily on you, but you guys are sooo there! You're going to be reunited sooner rather than later, you've passed, your family is going to be back under one roof! Rejoice in that and try not to let the red tape steal any more of your sanity.

Mrs Millslu the notes are very difficult to decipher! It seems like lots of stuff that really doesn't make sense. What I see with the notes is that they are generally printed when you order them, so like Zouk mentioned everything may not be captured because the notes may be roughly 30 days old. You can see when the notes were printed/ scanned somewhere in them but not completely sure where. Hang in there. I know the road is rough right now but it will smooth out very soon.

Tomorrow is the day that our notes are due to arrive! I have a feeling they won't come, just because I am SO looking forward to getting them and hoping some progress has been made.

Nice to see our Jam Family dropping by to spread the love and excitement with us!

Also just wanted to shout out to MissD. I know you may just be lurking but was thinking of you. I'm sure after reviewing your last set of notes you are feeling kinda crappy. Thinking of you!

lol....that woke me up c72 but we had a bad storm and power was off for hours so just now getting back online. POS is the same as JA processing - 20 long tortuous MONTHS . It's funny that Cuba is so fast especially because some of the most recent well known cases of marriage fraud are also from that office. SMH.....How is your hubby reacting to the possibility of finally being with his honey maybe for Christmas?

ohhhh he is soooo glad this is almost over, he just wants to come home and get back to work and get his life back he says......he says his prison sentence is almost over! lol

Hi Mrs. M. and so happy to hear your file updates!! Zouk is right - take time to enjoy the fact that it is now a "when" no longer an "if". My heart goes out to Millslu, I think I can speak on behalf of many of us that we too have been worried about him.

However it is normal to feel some depression when going through this, I think we all go through it at various times. Let him know his forum family is sending him big virtual hugs and keeping you both uplifted in prayer.
