Miss D...do you know how interview notice is sent out? Phone, email, mail? How much notice does POS usually give? 2 weeks?....

It took them around 7 days to reply.

They only reply to enquiries outside of the processing time...many times they dont respond as they determined a response is not necessary.
'We will not respond to your enquiry if the application is within normal processing times. Information on processing times.'

The less you contact POS, the happier they are!

well @dadzin am not sure but they do all of them, they phone, they email or they send a letter, but most people do get emails. wow how comes you havent heard anything its a year already for you?

No guys..haven't heard yet...the 15 months mark is in May .... If I don't hear anything by April then I will bring back my wife and daughter as they have visas...but then I will have to pay for pregnancy and any healthcare cost!
The only reason why they're in Trinidad is for healthcare....otherwise they would've been waiting for there PR in Canada with me. Do we have any midwives on here? lol

Anyone with interviews...how much notice do they give for you to come in?

I am not completely sure how much time they give you. However, there is someone on here (I think priestman) that has an interview scheduled for March 6 and that person has known about their interview for some time now. I think I saw posts that that person got their notice in January or earlier. I am sure it all depends though and POS does whatever they want!

I'm not a midwife.. but I'm about a year away from being a doctor lol and I've delivered lots of babies.. LOL oh my.

Interviews are usually scheduled via email with POS (although they can send a letter) and usually you get about 2 months notice.

hehe Nope.. I live in NS. Although, if hubby gets his visa any time within the next couple of months we're considering a move there actually... it's just talk for now though. I'd totally do it! lol ;)

Have you looked into midwives? I believe Toronto has some that are reasonably priced and have access to the hopsital in case there is an emergency or something.
