umm @ missd that is not helping lol,i dont think so cause my e-cas would say withdrawn plus when i called cic they didn't even know anything about the letter, and since danawe just got his PPR am guessing they are working on early June application still, my application is late June so am guessing danawe made me feel a little better, but am hoping it didn't get to POS before we had time intercept it.

They did not even know about it?! That's weird. That all sounds fishy to me.. I hope they work it out soon for you!

I believe they are working on applications past June possibly, only because DanAwe would have received his PPR probably 1-2 months ago but he had forgotten to include FBI forms and he had to wait a month for them. It appeared that POS was ready to issue his PPR in December and realized he needed his FBI forms and as soon as he sent those in they gave him his PPR. That's just my guess though.

Again, the don't always process applications in order.. so they could be working on applications from several months at the same time. I just hope your delay was not caused by any of this nonsense with the withdrawal thing.. some people can be so cruel. I hope they figure it out for you soon.

It takes the FBI people 1-2 months just to supply the FBI clearance/records. So POS requested he do them in December, by the time he waited over a month for the FBI papers and then mailed them to POS and then they processed them, yes, it was about 2 months.. But had those documents been in his original package, in December they probably would have given him PPR as opposed to asking for his missing documents. You know what I mean?

That's not to say they're DONE with June, but I'm thinking that they are also working on other months ahead of that. I guess only time will tell!

what time did you get the email @ dan. yes thanks i hope they sort it out but what i want tto know is who did it, that my wife and i biggest concern.

I got the email at about 1PM today. It will all be revealed in time, hang in there in the mean while.

I am hoping you're right. My heart has been racing like crazy ever since I heard your news today! I've checked my e-mail about a bijillion times, my e-cas, and this thread constantly all day. I'm sure they're done for the day now so I can stop, but your PPR gave me hope (once again). Your updates always give me hope that mine will come soon after!

Thank you millslu! I hope so too! This gave me a spark of hope that our theory about the increase in PPR around the 1st quarter is true!

Just made hubby send his first Case Specific Enquiry... it took me about a half hour to explain all the steps to him over the phone while he filled it out lol. He thought I was crazy... he has nooooooooooooooooooooooo idea how much work went into all of this lol. He just supplied the information and I did the paperwork (or else we'd STILL be doing paperwork lol). Now maybe he got even a taste of it lol

Anyway, we asked them to look into our address (where they forgot to put in the PO Box part and just had the number) just in case our time is getting closer.. don't want to miss any mail correspondence from them because they entered the address slightly wrong in their system. That would suck.

So we will see. I specifically got hubby to send it from him (it's usually from me) in hopes that they might actually ANSWER him lol. But we'll see. I guess it's not really something that warrants a response anyway, just an address error to be fixed.

I also got him to print off those forms that say I have permission to request our notes and he's going to scan (if he can find a place) or mail them off to me this week so we can order our notes to see whats happenin' at POS.

Hi kenyatta and welcome to the POS forum.

Once a sponsor is approved in Mississauga, their file is sent to POS. Usually it takes about 2 months since the date of sponsor approval before Port of Spain will send you an email or letter saying they have received your file (this is called AOR, or Acknowledgement of Receipt). However, if you have been waiting for 3 months or more since sponsor approval, I would try to call CIC and ask for your File number for the applicant because POS does not always remember to send out an AOR.

So basically, after sponsor approval, you should get AOR by 2-3 months, sometimes earlier if you're lucky. If it's been 3+ months, call them and make sure they received your file and ask for the applicant's file number so you can monitor your status on e-cas.

Once POS has your file, processing times have ranged from as short as a few months to as long as years... depends on your case, your proof, your requirements, etc.

Also, you should join the forum. Please let us know:

1) When you sent your application to Mississauga for Stage 1 Approval
2) When you got Stage 1 approval
3) What country the applicant is from

and I will add you to our spreadsheet if you like (the spreadsheet is located at the end of my posts, under the blue ticker/timeline and it says "POS Spreadsheet"). There you can monitor everyone's process.

I think DanAwe said he was going to send off his PP tomorrow.. he should have his visa back in 2-3 weeks!
