I've been reading CanLii too and they sure are. How do you not know basic things about your spouse such as occupation and when you first met....pretty much the same info you put into the application. Something ain't right at all. Things like that does raise red flags to the VO.
I recently read that they were staging fake marriages and receptions in China...photoshopping pics and going the whole nine yards to make the marriage seem genuine. I was shocked! As a result, CIC is thinking about issuing conditional visas. I think its a great idea but my only concern is to those in abusive relationships, this may be a problem. Moreover I don't see CIC trying to lenghten processing times for these places so as to conduct more checks on these folks.
I haven't ordered CAIPS yet. I believe it takes about a montht to receive the CAIPS notes. I also thought it was a bit early for myself as I haven't gotten any correspondence from POS. I will be sending updated docs in Dec so will definitely keep the forum posted on that. Hopefully they get to my file that way.
