Hey everyone, I'd appreciate all the help for this process. My wife just got her visa we're planning on coming to Canada soon, we've applied for outside of Quebec and we intend to move to Alberta, but I'm from Quebec so I'd like for us to first fly to Quebec to spend 1 -2 weeks so I can show her my hometown and see some family before moving on. Would that be an issue?

Likely won't need them, but just in case. They probably won't get into it if you indicate you are travelling on to Alberta. Sure, if they do, you're travelling a bit on the way to Alberta. If they ask for more, you have some evidence of how/where you're travelling to (other things like home/rental/job in Alberta might do it too).
