I am writing this to get help and help you guys too by sharing this info:
Today is my flight to Canada for University Category - Online applied
I am facing problem at delhi airport because I have not POE/LOI- Letter of Approval. I got my visa for January intake. but I didn't get POE letter in my GC key account or in passport envelop from vfs.
After having long discussion with Etihad airlines (Thay are demanding POE-LOI-VISA Approval letter) at airport they allow me to board without this letter on one condition that if Canada will raise an issue for this letter on entry in Canada they will fine me 1 lakh panality. I am bit nervous Plz suggest and help me guys I will reach Canada Tomorrow. God Bless me.
I checked my online GC KEY account I have just 3 messages (File Submission, File Confirmation and Passport request). Nothing else. Plz Plz guys help if somebody face same problem and solved it without POE letter.

Why would they demand letter at the delhi airport? You just have to show your passport at the security gate. And airline has nothing to do with LOI, if they are doing this then it is ridiculous
LOI is required at the port of entry in the destination country. That is required only by immigration officer and no one can stop you from boarding your flight if you have a valid visa
Airlines officials said that they have documents checklist in which LOI/POE is mandatory for students to fly to Canada. All others students have this letter but Me and my friend didn’t get this letter from Embassy. We just got visa stamped on our passport. Hope everything gonna be alright at port of entry Canada.
So they allowed you to board the flight? Where are you now? Also is it only mandatory for students or workers as well?

Wel if your application is approved and you haven’t received loi then it should be all good as information related to your application is now online and they should be able to locate using your passport , so just show them your passport and tell them you are here for work permit or study whatever the case is.
So it’s ok to travel to Canada just show my passport and they can give me work permit visa?
