Port of Entry for first time work permit entry to Canada

Hi,
Could anyone help me with my query- my job offer is for Toronto, but my spouse lives in Montreal. Is it okay to enter through Montreal? I will have my work permit printed at the POE since this is my first entry since getting a job in Canada.

Yes. You can enter at the Quebec border.
