What are the most popular FM radio stations in Canada? The ones people always listen in their cars for example?

Would it be possible to listen to them over the internet? I think that it would add a lot to the integration even before landing. And help in language issues to those who need it.

I have no idea, but I really do think that is a brilliant idea, especially for those coming to Canada from a non English speaking country.

If you manage to find this information, I suggest you post it in all the different forums.

I can expand on this idea. 3G smartphone + Portable FM transmitter will make it possible to have it in the car wherever you are in the world. But still don't have any replay concerning the stations....

In my opinion, these are some of the more popular ones within the GTA:

CBC 99.1
CHUM FM 104.5
Z103.5 <- morning show is really good.
Mix 99.9

There are probably others, and I'm sure you can listen to these online.
