Wow gives me some hope too, I am out of status right now but within the 90 days frame to restore so I am in the process of filing everything together. Hopefully everything will go well with my status too !

So...does this mean I'm am now IN status...as opposed to being out of status??

Not yet, because you have to attend your landing appointment/interview before they can finalize your PR. Once they hand you your CoPR document...you have status.

@confusedhusband

I am also out of status and was wondering what are you applying for ? I have decided to apply for visitor visa as going to school seems to be a hassle on its own.

Within 90 days of your status expiry, you can apply for "restoration of status". I think you have to get an answer on that before doing anything else. You can apply for PR while out of status, but if you are applying inland, you won't be able to get the work permit without legal status.

Congrats Voilet Blue best Christmas gift ;D :D.. .. So Happy for you!!! Yah Man

I am sending inland application along with restoration and OWP
