We did file asylum application in USA way back in August 2015, got work permit/authorization, social security and driving license but due to the abnormal yet uncharacteristic delay in our interview we had to come back since it was getting hard to survive there.

Can we come to Canada and file our genuine and very authentic asylum application even though our asylum case in the US was not closed as mentioned above? Please advise us if we can come to Canada and file our asylum application through your reputed office without any hassles whatsoever.

Now my friend is calling us on Visit visa to advising us to take asylum in Canada so is that possible?? To do so

As in the other thread, if you can safely go back to your home country, asylum is probably not an option.

I know someone in the same situation. They were rejected multiple times for a visitor’s visa.

The fact that you have a recent asylum claim in the US means you have zero chance of being approved for a TRV. The fact that you were able to return to your country seriously calls into question any basis for an asylum claim in the first place.

Exactly. People that are in danger would not even consider going back to their own country.

Like I said, the person I know tried multiple times to get a visa, I believe it was 7 times. Rejected ALL THOSE TIMES.

If you want to come to Canada, you either need to qualify as normal like everyone else or leave your country and be recognized as a refugee. Note that the second option in no way guarantees you will come to Canada, as you could be resettled in any number of other countries.

From your country? NO. You also will not be able to go to Canada with a previous abandoned refugee claim.
