What do you mean by police warnings?
I did something stupid a few years ago and there were no charges pressed, but I was given a warning and the police said if I do it again I will get in trouble. I'm 99% sure they made a note in the system in case I did it again. So now I'm concerned if police warning like that would show up on the criminality check..

Being told off by the police, given a warning.
They won't show..
Thank you!! I really hope so.. Im worried also because in the past when applying for ETA etc, I also always responded "no" to question "have you ever commited a crime". So now I just realized maybe I should have been responding yes especially if IRCC can see the warning on my record (I'm in applying for permanent residency now).

A warning would not be issued for a criminal offence, it would be for traffic stuff, like speeding which isn't a criminal offence.

in most cases, if it’s first time committing a criminal offence, the police doesn’t press charges but that doesn’t mean that the person did not commit a criminal offence.

Can you list some of the types of criminal offences that will only get you a warning?

Hey, "most" only result in a warning. That's clear, is it not?

So, I would expect first or second degree murder to fall outside of "most", and you would be charged. But, moving down the scale, maybe you get one manslaughter for free. A sexual assault causing bodily harm might get charged, but maybe not sexual assault simpliciter. Probably a common assault or two get a pass, but assault causing bodily harm or aggravated assault might get charged. Maybe possession of prohibited substances for the purpose of trafficking is okay for a first offender, unless we are talking about fentanyl or carfentanil.

Hope this helps. :)
