Police records

Hello we didnt have the choice to not provide the police records because when we asked the 2 countries embassies they said that it was not possible (we sent a letter of explaination and the emails with embassies as proofs)

does anybody had the same problem and we wanted to know if cic accepted it

Hi- my police certificate has been requested. I live in the US and received it back from the FBI today. The website refers to uploading a scanned color copy to my application. The PDF I received from the FBI is black and white with a grey seal. I'm paranoid now that if I submit this copy it will be rejected since the website references a color copy a few times.

Were your police certificates in color or was this an issue for you if you uploaded the PDF that was black and white?

How long did this take for you to receive? I filed the paperwork for mine with the FBI months ago and still haven't heard back. I know my background is clean so don't know what the hold up is.

I submitted my paper application back in December and was still waiting as of last week when I got the request to send it in for my application- the website says it takes 14-16 weeks. The FBI is now accepting online applications, so I submitted that and sent a new fingerprint card in. It only took 7 days from start to finish for the electronic application- no word still on the paper. You can go to https://www.fbi.gov/services/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks and read the section on "option to resubmit via eDO" to get the details.
