Hi my girlfriend and I are getting the forms together for inland sponsorship. We are may be getting married in the next few weeks. She is from Germany and is here on a WHV. We know she will have to provide a recent record check from Germany. Eight years ago she lived in the UK for 8 months. She had a record check from the UK completed last year (2014) in addition to her German record check to get her WHV to Canada. She has not been to the UK since she lived there. It's a pain to get a new record check from here. Would CIC be ok with the last UK check from 2014 and a new German one? Maybe she could include a letter of explanation.
