Hi All,
Background: I have worked in Canada for 2 years (total 6 years of IT experience), then left my job, came back to India. While applying for Work Permit, I have seen the following question: "Did you serve in any military or security organization or Police force?"
Well, after coming back to India I have served in a security / Police force, and have resigned from there now, and planning to go back to Canada with PR.
Question 1: Do I have to show my police work experience in my EE profile? It is not of relevant NOC work experience as my IT job. Is it mandatory to declare this?
Question 2: If I declare the same, do I need to submit extra documents like NOC (No Objection Certificate) etc. issued by Indian Government?
Question 3: "Did you serve in any military or security organization or Police force?" - I will be answering 'Yes' to this question in my eAPR (if it is there). Do I have to fill any extra forms / information regarding this during eAPR process?
Question 4: Why is the above question asked by CIC anyway? Do they consider these people (police etc.) in a negative light while deciding to grant PR? Will this play a role during PR process?
I fulfill all other criterion, like language, work experience, education etc.
Thanks!
