Hi,

1. Most likely, it would be a visa refusal because you are already a Graduate and now, aspiring for a Diploma.

Also, hopefully you realize that taking this course will not allow you to work as a police officer in Ontario after you graduate. To be a police officer, you must be a Canadian citizen.

guyz need your suggestions ,

i have a BBA completed in 2008 (UK)and then i was enrolled in Masters in criminology in UK (northumbria university) but withdraw from this course due to change of circumstances and now i am intend to join Police Foundation Diploma St.Lawrence College Canada.

international student advisor from this college replied to me that this would be considered a two-year undergraduate program. At the end of the program you receive an Ontario College Diploma.

many people think this would be a refusal cause of study miss match

if i mentioned in my cover letter that after getting admission in Masters program i realized that i am missing some core knowledge ,and i should start from beginning and to get the admission in Post graduate level in this particular program in Canada student must hold the diploma or the degree in the related subject.

so rather than getting admission in bachelors again i choose 2 year diploma which makes me able to jump in professional field.

Hi,

1. Think again. No one at CHC going to read/believe your cover letter because it's not required as per the visa checklist. And, also aspiring for a diploma after BBA doesn't make any sense.

hmmm,

is this not considerable that
i was enrolled in Masters
(paid 4000 pounds )
attended first semester

(ITS NOT SHOWS MY INTENTIONS)

I mean there is no rule of thumb that we can't change the field of study ,
cover letter is not included in checklist but it does matter, can speak on your behalf

going for Diploma is because 'change of field ((((***which i did realize in my first semester of Masters***)))

rather thn 4 years Bachelor , if i completed this 2 year diploma ill be eligible to enter in post graduate level in same field

what you say?

Hi,

Well, it would be your choice/decision, but at least for me the facts are;

1. Incomplete Master studies in UK.
2. BBA graduate from UK.
3. Now, aspiring for a 2 year post-secondary diploma.

Yes, absolutely you can change your field/study but it should be on a right level. Changing from a BBA degree (or let's say incomplete Master) to a 2 year post-secondary diploma doesn't make any sense.
