I have received the ITA around 2 weeks ago and I am planning to travel to India in the coming few days. Is it okay if I get PCC for India from India itself since I am going to India anyway?

you would need to show current address. If you are currently staying abroad, it is better to take PCC from local Indian embassy.

I am currently staying in Canada. you mean its better to take it from Local embassy?

BLS Canada will take maximum 5 weeks for processing police clearance. if you have to tarvel to INDIA plan accordingly.
