hello mentors!
i am an applicnt for fsw catagory and recently i received AOR from CIO, CANADA. They advised me to send full documents along with a police clearence certificate.here i would like to draw your kingd attention regarding PCC.
i collected PCC which was issued dated as on december 12, 2009. PCCwas taken just a month before my submission of initial application to the CIO, canada,
i collected PCC as per direction given at "the instruction"Instruction Guide [IMM EG7000] which states:

"All applicants must submit police certificates/clearances as part of the application process.

Note: Do not submit your police certificates to the CIO. If your application is recommended by the CIO for further assessment, you will be required to submit the police certificates along with the full application to the Canadian Visa Office indicated on your application.

You and all of your family members who are 18 years of age and older and are not permanent residents or Canadian citizens will have to provide:

a valid police certificate, or
police clearance, or
record of no information.
These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

Note: If you or your family members were under 18 years of age (16 years of age in certain jurisdictions) for the entire time you lived in a particular country, you do not need to provide a police certificate for that country.

You may begin to gather your police certificates before submitting your application to the CIO. Although you will not submit the police certificate to the CIO, you must be ready to submit them to a visa office if your application is recommended for further assessment at a Canadian visa office. When you submit the application to the Visa Office please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months before you submitted your application to the CIO"

now i am in a indisisive position whether it will serve the pupose,
i look forward to hearing some useful and respected suggestion from you all
thank you mentors :(

Hi
PCC is valid for 90 days.
Check from the date of issue and when you are submitting full docs to CHC.
If it is more than 90 days, you will have to get a new PCC.

Hi Bennyameh,

are you sayign that the PCC should be within 3 months of submitted the second round docs. i.e the full docs?

that doesnt seem correct from excerpt that 'imu' wrote before which states-
"certificates were not issued more than three months before you submitted your application to the CIO"
" =>this means it should be within 3 months of submitting the 1st round of docs i.e. the initial submission to the Intake office

Please clarify.

No older than 90 days when you submit to CIO Sydney.

dear rg-canada
thank you all very much for this explanation. i think your statement correspondence to the excerpt, i collecyted PCC just before submitting the initial application to the CIO, CANADA. I mean i gathered as the part of document collection. dear!
could you please advise me if i can use it now if i send my full documents to the canadian high comission , singapore this month. doest it mean that when my initial application received by CIO, CANADA, "LOCKED IN" since then my PCC will be taken as valid documents, pls, i would be happy if you pls advise me further.

Meaning you are to submit your full documents one month after your first AOR from NS. I say this because it takes averagely two months for CIO NS to give approval for submission of full documents to visa office.

It advisable that you commence the gathering of all other documents once you submit initial application to NS. This will enable you to submit early thereby doing away with the intense pressure that is associated with document collection with an approaching deadline.

As per question, you are still safe with your existing police certificate.

As other seniors mentioned you are good with your PCC as it has been issued only a month beforre your app to CIO. The requirement is that PCC should be no older than 90 days when you submit to CIO Sydney.
