Hi guys,
I'm going to apply for citizenship within 2 months. I entered Canada as protected person and my question is will i be required to provide police clearance from my home country or it's the same procedure as permanent residence application where refugees are not required for the clearance from home country.
Thanks in advance.

It is the same procedure as PR with respect to Police Clearance ...PCCs are not required from the countries from which the applicant sought protection. And it is assumed you would never have travelled any case post to the Protected status to the country for which it was granted.
If you can’t get a police certificate from your country or territory you’re responsible to show why you can’t get one in the explanation box. IRCC will still seek the Security and other clearances from the respective agencies before grant.

Any country of travel, other than the country against which you sought protection, and if it is for more than 183 days or more during the last 4 years of your application yes you need a PCC.

You Saying pcc are not Required from country from the Applicant sought Protection then why he has To Explain to The immigration authorities to Why He is not getting Pcc From his Country......If Doesn't Required pcc From His Country then He Doesn't Neet To Explain to The IRCC..............
