Hello everyone. I am not sure about the Police Clearance.

In the checklist it states: "Original police certificates or clearances from each country where you were present for a total of 183 days or more in the 4 years immediately before the date of your application".

I have been a PR since 28 December 2013 and I have never left Canada since. Do I still need a police clearance?

you will need IT, if u have been total of 183 out of 4 yrs, you have been PR 3.5 months & days to today. Just wait 5 months to avoid it.

Better to include irregardless. Just saying

If u are a pr since Dec 2013 and didn't leave Canada then you don't need it.

Nop. He has been here for almost 4 years. His absence is less than 90 days, so he is good to go.

If we suppose that you file your application on 13 October 2017, the 4 years immediately before that date start on 13 October 2013. Between that date and the day you became PR there are 76 days, so it is impossible for you to have spent at least 183 days in one country during those 76 days.

So the answer is no.

Sometimes they are complicated things to get. Doing it "just in case" may be an overkill.

Yeah its not easy to get one for sure so i understand. Maybe send your application like that and if they ask you can always include it later.
