Hey,

I shall be applying for immigration under CEC shortly. I have been living in Canada since the age of 15 and at no point have I lived outside of Canada for longer than 6 months. I know I dont require a PCC from any other country, but do I need to get PCC from Canada i.e. the RCMP background check?

I see lots of cases where ppl are requested by immigration afterwards to get the PCC from RCMP. Is it a good idea to preempt this and get the PCC beforehand and attach it to the immigration application?

Thanks,

pk

No, PCCs are not required from Canada. And if you submit one now, they can still request one later. :)
