Anyone know how to send along the applicable fee of 12,000 Ugandan Shillings (roughly 5 CAD)? The CIC website just says, 'include the applicable fees of Ug Shs 12,000'.

as your visa office is Nairobi, you could try posting in the Nairobi thread, although it doesn't look very active - but you can give it a try, they might have a better idea and hopefully there is somebody Uganda that can tell you the answer. here it is http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/any-nairobi-applicant-t109810.0.html

Nairobi handles the application for family sponsorship for Uganda, as there is no office in Kampala - see here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/nairobi.asp

So all Ugandan applicants would go through Nairobi... if you post your question in the Nairobi thread, you might come across somebody who has done the same process recently and can guide you with that.

Just a suggestion - there might be other ways.

Maybe somebody on the thread can tell you how to do that, if they have done it themselves ( my logic being - if somebody applies through Nairobi, they might have had to get a police check from Uganda as well, so maybe they can direct you and help you).

I have done that myself when I was trying to get a Police Check from a country belonging to a different VO. It worked for me, I posted my question about how to do it, somebody gave me the procedure and offered to help and get it for me as doing it from abroad was complicated.
