police clearance required?

Hello all there,does somebody know if in my case,Canadian living exclusively outside from Canada,I will need to bring with me a police clearance from Greece where I have lived and grew up?do they usually ask about this when you apply for a job?I have seen from the job bank something like this...does this apply for me too or only for PR holders?

no, they don't ask for police records for applying to regular jobs. generally, background checks are only rquired for government jobs or jobs working with elderly and children. i highly doubt anyone will inquire about a background check from another country of residence.

thanks,in case that they ask a police record in my case what should i do?how they can check someone that is newcomer?just curious
