Police clearance report

Hi All,
I applied for study visa in Canada for Fall 2018. Hoping to do masters.
I have worked in Maldives for 1 year 8 months. (2016Jan-2017 July).
1.Will Visa officer ask for a police report?
2. If Yes, Other than the police report from Sri Lanka, Do I have to submit a police report from Maldives as well?

If someone could answer me I highly appreciate it.

Hello Friend,

It is not required. A police clearance certificate is not there in the list of required documents for a Canada Student Visa application. You do not have to add this document to your visa application file. I applied for a student visa in April this year and never added one, I got the visa in 4 weeks.
