Police Clearance Philippines

The CIC web site says that an NBI certificate has to be issued for the police clearance in the Philippines.

My wife went to her local police department and got it there, fingerprints and picture.

Is this ok for CIC or do they specifically need the NBI? ???

The police clearance meant for Philippines is the NBI. She may do the application online but she still needs to go to an NBI satellite office for photo and fingerprints. She will have to bring with her the form she will fill-out online and receipt of payment.
