... If anyone can advise me on how to get this it'll be so helpful as right now I have a big question mark looming around my head.

Does this mean my application is at a standstill until i provide the saudi PCC?

hi,

not sure about indian nationals/citizens. but i guess it's the KSA policy that if you're no longer a resident, you won't be able to get a PCC. in order to have this requirement waived, try sending an email to CANADIAN EMBASSY in Riyadh and inquire about getting a police clearance. Pls don't forget to provide them your file number so they know that the Canadian Embassy in your country is requesting this document.

hope this helps.

I've been thru this since last year, I was a saudi arabia resident and since 6 yrs I'm in my home country, the only way to get the saudi pcc is thru ur country's ministry of foreign affairs, and it takes from 4-6 months to be issued

Thanks Kulitzam for the reply. I emailed the Canadian Embassy in Riyadh on Saturday and am waiting for their reply. I hope they say something substantial in their email so that I can show that email to immigration here.

The problem is the saudi embassy doesn't reply to any emails as a result I have no proof to show that they are not helping. Anyway hope this gets resolved one way or the other. ???

Thanks Sherine, I'll try to look for my country's foreign affairs website to see if its written anywhere so that I can show Immigration. I doubt the Indian website will have it but will look.

Hi Skylar, do you think my father can contact your husband in Manila for help? He's 69 and he doesn't know what to do in OUMWA. He doesn't even know what the requirements are. Thanks.

Hi there. My husband just went there submitted all the requirements he has and paid the fees. http://www.philembassy-riyadh.org/index.php/public-services/consular-services/police-clearance-saudi You can check the requirements from this link. He emailed the Philippine embassy in Riyadh and the vice consul said if he lacks other requirements it will be just fine because my husband doesnt have his iqama anymore. They only give the No derogatory certificate in lieu of the Saudi PCC.

hi guys, i requested for a police clearance in Saudi 2 months ago. the consulate mailed me that my clearance is already prepared, and he lets me choose wether if they will send it by ordinary mail or through courier by my own expense.I don't have an idea where to legally send the money since lately he just mailed me using his personal email address. he told me that the DHL will cost SAR330. Because i don't know where else to send the money, he said that he will pay the courier there upon sending the document.but i have to send the amount thru western union to someone in his hometown maybe (here in the philippines). he told me that i should add 500 pesos in upon sending and furthermore he said that i should add an amount as (panlakad). it will all amount to more or less 4600pesos because he insists that i should multiply the 330sar to 12php. i don't know what to do now, i know i shouldn't send that big amount but i don't know anyone to contact in the embassy but him. Please help.. ??? I would highly appreciate your replies and advices.

As per a third person it sounds like a scam. When I was going through this forum to find out about the Saudi Police Clearance I came across posts from people in the Phillipines and there was a way to do it directly though the embassy. This takes time but in Nov 2012 (when I looked) it was possible directly. You should look into that. If you ever have to pay for something like this it should be directly from an embassy or consulate otherwise it is probably not possible to obtain this. I am from India and it was not possible for me to obtain one (if you read this thread you will see the details). So there is another way if your embassy doesn't have an option to give you the saudi police clearance.

This situation of you having to send money to them personally through western union and them emailing you from their personal email are all signs of someone trying to scam you. It is your decision but it seems like a big scam to me.

Please read more on this forum and you'll get a lot of direction on this before you make any decision. Good Luck!
