I was in Dubai from November 2006 and went home to my country of origin October 2007. But I spent most of my time exiting the country every 2 months because visitor visa last for only 60 days. The only time I got my working visa was June of 2007. My last exit of the country (UAE) was May 2007. Do I need to obtain a police clearance? Or the immigration lawyer can just waive the police clearance from Dubai.

if you were not in Dubai for 6 month continuously without living Dubai then you do not need to get police clearance.
but make sure in your passport, in and out entry date is not longer than 6 month.

My old passport was very untidy due to the stamps every 2 months (exit and entrance).
