Police clearance huge delay from Chicago Embassy !

If somebosy can help me , It will be really appreciated.

I got a letter from Canadian embassy on May 30th when they gave me time for 3 months to provide additional documentation by Aug 31st and an interview waiver. The document required was also PCC from India for which I applied in Chicago embassy in June sometime. It is November now and I have not been contacted by Chicago embassy on my PCC. I call them almost everyday and no one picks up. All other formalities for my csae are done, I have provided Medicals and all other documentation asked for.

Now as I give hope on My PCC, I am planning to also apply for my PCC thru San Francisco Indian embassy in hope of getting the PCC soon.

Can somebody tell me what can be the next steps that Canadian embassy might take waiting for my PCC since so much time and also what else can I do for getting my PCC earlier from Chicago ?

Hi,
I am very new to this and only in stage of collecting documents so dont know if I am correct. I think you can get Police Clearence from India. If you have any relatives in India, cant they get it from local police station?? .

This is going to be a big problem. Technically, you haven't met the requirements to provide all documents within 90 days. So they may deny your application, even if it was the Indian embassy's fault.

I suggest you start getting very assertive with the embassy staff and find out what's happened to your police clearance request.
