Hi all,

Need an urgent piece of advise.
I am applying for a Police Clearance Certificate for Canadian PR from Canada. The form asked me to fill in my permanent address in India (which is in, say, city A) but that is not where I have lived since I was 18, ie, I was working in another city in India (say city B). My permanent address is where my passport is issued from and where I go home to now (where my parents are), from Canada but it is not where I was living while working in India. Should I fill in my permanent address in the form as my passport address, ie, my parents home (city A) or where I was working in India (city B). Because if they need the address I was living at while working, it's not the same as my permanent address.

I am a little unsure of how this works and if I should write my permanent, passport address itself while they complete the police check somehow. Does the PCC specify which city and address the check was done for? That would not be the same as the place I was working at so I'm a little concerned.

Please help!
