Hi - I'm applying for Canadian Immigration under the FSW category, we haven't submitted our packages yet.

We dont use a consultant and I've searched everywhere on the net for the below - but cant seem to get a straight answer:

1. Police Clearance - We were told that both Singapore Clearance as well as the Indian Clearance (from the Indian embassy) here is provided directly to the canadian immigration office "upon request" from them. Since their validity is only 3 months. Is this accurate? Would a request go to them directly or should we include as part of our documents in the package.

2. We found the Visa Office in Singapore only handles applications for Citizens of - Bangladesh, Brunei, Burma, Myanmar (Burma), Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Could someone help please?

If your stay in Singapore is long then put Singapore as visa office otherwise it is New Delhi. You can get Indian PCC from Singapore consulate or your passport office in India.

@ttrajan - Thanks much for the response. I've been in Singapore for 4years now(i'm sure thats long enough :) . i guess the statement on the Singapore Canadian Website threw me off.

Understand your statement on Police clearance - however - do you know if it should go after we submit our package and they ask for it (usually after application is accepted for further processing)? Or along with our package.
