Hi

Situation:
Thanks for taking time to answers queries. After getting my PNP certificate, I sent PR application to CIC with Police Clearance Certificate of countries where I've lived 6 months or more. I didn't include the Police Clearance Certificate from a country where I lived for 5 and half months ( 1st Feb to 17th July). However I received the following request from CIC:

POLICE CERTIFICATE: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate Please submit a police certificate from XYZ-COUNTRY. Please check the CIC website (How To obtain a police certificate). You will find the link below.

Same is true for my wife. She lived in a country for 5 months 25 days but didn't complete 6 months. I received a similar request for both of us.

Question:
Should I write to CIC back with a explanation letter? Or is anything more than 5 months considered as 6 months and almost 6 months is same as completing 6 months, and I should go ahead and apply for police clearance cert for that country?

Has anyone experienced similar issue? Any reply would be really helpful.

Thanks

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
they are unpredictable and cant be understand. to assess by system rather than they do with their own
way.( some guys got 2 time medical or pcc request or bank statement which is not suppose to be but ....)
i would suggest you to get pcc from that country where u lived beside shot them mail regarding your stay
period .
i am sure they will insist to provide pcc , so to save your time start process for your pcc.rest is upto you.
