Please suggest me correct options for the below listed questions:
Criminal Record from Switzerland
1. There are two types of criminal Excerpt from Switzerland - "Excerpt for Criminal Records" and "Special Excerpt for
Criminal Records". I guess we need "Excerpt for Criminal Records" (also known as classic Excerpt).

2. Should we get a digital version of the "Excerpt for Criminal Records" with digital signature or the paper version with attestation (to be scanned and uploaded during submission to CIC) ?
3. Since I have already left Switzerland long back my assumption is that I can get the Excerpt before getting ITA.
Please correct me if I am wrong. I read in the Excerpt verification process and it mentions that verification of
excerpts can be done within 6 months only.

Police Clearance from USA
1. Do we need only the FBI clearance or also the clearance from US state ?
2. We have a 1 year old son born in United States. My assumption is that we do not need Police clearance for him from USA or Canada. Please correct me if my assumption is wrong.
3. FBI clearance will be received in paper format in mail which should be submitted after scaning to CIC. Please let me know if my understanding is correct.
