police clearance/ checks when do they expire?

what about medical exams ? i did my last examination on feb 2010.

Police clearances should not be more than 3 months old when received by CPC - M.

If your processing extends for more than a year, you will be requested to do new police clearances and medical checks.

So you are good until Feb 2011 on your medical.

I just received my FBI report but they havent request them in mexico city.

I sent all reports when application was initially submitted fen 2009. appeal was allowed on sept 20th 2010. I went and request new police reports and have them ready , but immigration havent ask for the for the second time.

should i send them even if they havent request them ?

what I know for police clearance you do not need to renew

but for the medical you need it is valid for a year , so if your medical has or closed to be a year I advice you to renew it even if they do not ask you, prepare and save time.

is there something in writing where it shows about the police clearance ? Im just wondering because i havent run across anything if they need or not need to be renew it.

I think expired police clearance/nbi clearance/fbi clearance aren't an issue in immigration case processing. When I submitted my application to cic... it was last june 24, 2010 and my police clearance and nbi clearance expired at June 16, 2010 since it was issued last June 16, 2009. But, they never asked me one or to renew it.

Only medicals are needed to be renewed... It's only good for 1 year since the issuing date...

Interesting , IM all worried about sending new police checks , since some on they forums , post about immigration asking them for medicals and police checks before they are asked to send passport. I may run across someone who they did ask to re do them.

We were afraid that our FBI certificate would expire while the process was going on and since it was taking about 2 months to get the certificate from the FBI we sent away for a second set just in case Buffalo asked for it - then we would have it ready to go and wouldnt have to wait the two months to get it after Buffalo asked. It worked out well for us because the second set arrived right when Buffalo asked for it as they apparently lost the first set that we sent in (separately from the original application).

If we had received the request and had to wait two months for the FBI report I would have had a nervous breakdown.

Thats what I did , request a second set of police checks , FBI report just in case they ask for it , but since they haven't ask for it im afraid they ask when they expire ( 3 months ).

Im going thru an appeal process , the appeal was allowed on sept 20th 2010. we haven't heard anything from the embassy in mexico city since then. I hope the reports are ok , the ones they have which to mee they are old. Initial application was sent on Feb 2009.

My guess is that from sept 2010 ( when appeal was allow ) its going to take an extra 6 months.
