Some questions on PCC:

1. My application received by CIC on 19-Aug-2014). CIC has requested for me and my spouse's PCCs - I have a Swiss PCC issued on 24-Nov-2014, will this still be OK to send right now? I had not send it with my original package and neither thereafter since they hadn't asked for it.

2. How do I apply for Italian and UK PCC?

3. Can I scan the PCC's once received or do I have to mail them the hard copies?

I look forward to hearing from you'll.

Thank you ~

As long as you did not visit Switzerland after that date, this PCC will do. Otherwise, you might want to consider getting a new one (even if you went there after you got PCC but did not stay for 6 months or longer - Just to be safe)

2. How do I apply for Italian and UK PCC?

Italy PCC - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/europe/italy.asp
UK PCC - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/europe/united-kingdom.asp

3. Can I scan the PCC's once received or do I have to mail them the hard copies?

Since you have not applied through Express Entry, I am not sure if you will have to send hard copies or send it through e-mail. You could ask your peers about this.

Check these links out - might help you.

rajkamalmohanram -- Thank you for your detailed reply, I will check out the links.

Additionally, we just realized that one of the PCC that CIC requested we did not even stay for the 180 days/6 months in a foreign country. It was 167 days -- is this even worth pointing out to CIC?

Any thoughts anyone?

Thank you.

This is precisely why I suggested you to get another Swiss PCC if you ever went back there even for 1 day after you got PCC. CIC is unpredictable. I recall a case where an applicant was requested a US FBI PCC even though he had stayed there only for 5 months. If they ask, you have to provide - You cannot negotiate/argue with them.
