Police Clearance Certificate

Hi,

I recently moved from India to Dubai on Jan-2019. I have to submit PCC for Canada immigration purpose. I spoke with Dubai Police and they told me that since its just a month for me in Dubai, they will not issue PCC. The Indian Embassy in Dubai said that they need Dubai PCC first to issue Indian PCC.

Shall I go for a short trip to India to get PCC? Also, by the time I fly to Canada, it might be more than 6 months for me staying in Dubai. Will there be any issue then as I wont be able to submit UAE PCC now.

if Indian embassy in UAE not issuing PCC without UAE PCC then there is not much you can do. Go to india on short trip, apply PCC in passport office (Passport seva kendra), get PCC (make sure you take care of address where police verification will happen in india) and come back to dubai.. for your PR profile requirement, when you complete 6 months in UAE, you can arrange and submit the same later when required
