Hello Senior Members,

I am going to apply under CEC including my spouse as well. Do we need to submit Police clearance together at the same time with the application, or we need to wait for a response from CIC to submit the same.

Hi, if you and your spouse has been in Canada longer then 6 months then yes. After the age of 18 where ever you have lived longer then 6 months, yes you need to provide the police clearance from that country.

Ideally you want to submit it with the application, or as soon as possible after. Your application will not be returned if you do not submit the PCC, but they will require it to continue processing the application.

Check out the CEC checklist.

Hi Imran,
You can send the PCCs with the application or later. But,I suggest you to file your application without the PCC. Once you get your file number, get the PCC and send them. Because, most of the PCCs are valid for one year, by the time your application is ready for processing the PCC will be valid.

Good Luck!!

If you resided there for at least 6 consecutive months, then yes, you need the PCC from the UK. Trips to Europe don't matter for this purpose, unless you literally changed your residence with each trip.
