Yes, they have to be no older than 3 months at the date of the application.zhaotianwu said:If I only reside in Canada and before I came Canada I had already submitted an updated police certificate to get my study permit, do I still need to request a new one just for skilled worker immigration purpose now?
My study permit application was one year ago. But I really haven't gotten any opportunity to commit new crime in my home country since then, because I've been physically here in Canada
Even if I have never left Canada since I entered Canadian border as a student one year ago and carrying a police clearance back then? ???PMM said:Hi

My application was processed by the Buffalo office, they requested for police clearance from the state where I lived and the state where I worked.h1bpro said:Hello,
I have resided in several states in the US. Do I need to get PCC from each state, or only the FBI?
BTW, I will be applying in Buffalo office.
Thanks for your help.
When you submit your application - you ony need an FBI record check. If Buffalo requires a police certificate from the individual states, they would let you know at a later stage. In other words only FBI for now.h1bpro said:Hello,

Agree! But CIC will only give you 90 days to submit. How sure are you that you can get the state police clearance within that 90-day period. Better safe than sorry.....jameskutty said:When you submit your application - you ony need an FBI record check.
