Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) - Should I get PCC from each city I have lived in?

Hello All,

I have got PCC done from my home town, which states that nothing adverse has been found against me in the city, however I live and work in another metropolitan city since past 4 months. Do I need to get PCC from my current city as well?

You should not have gotten a PCC from your hometown at all. IRCC only accepts national PCCs (issued from the country you live in), not on a state or city basis. OMG, I just sent my application and uploaded the National PCC that IRCC asks for, plus two local PCC covering the two different cities (in the same country) in which I've lived in for the last 10 years. So I'm guessing that it was useless sending those two additional documents, but I mean they can't reject the application for presenting more documents than the ones they asked for, or can they?

They won't reject you for sending documents that have no use in addition to the one they need.
