Hello

I got an ITA on 12th July and I submitted my e-APr on 2nd August. Today I got a message saying that my application has been rejected as incomplete. The reason is that my Police Clearance Certificate from India is not acceptable.

I am an Indian citizen currently living in Germany and the last time I lived in India was 2012. I got my German PCC from here and Indian PCC from my local state police department which my parents had sent me to Germany by post. I don't know what is wrong and what is the correct procedure. Kindly advice if anyone is in a similar situation

Indian PCC has to from Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) as this covers the whole of India and not just a city or town. The local PCC as not valid for CIC

I think you should apply at the Indian embassy in Germany

Hello

Did you translate the police clearance certificate from Germany?
I too have PCC from Germany but I’m wondering if I shall translate it or not as in the main body of the certificate it is written in English as no cases(entries), but rest is in German.

Your reply would be very appreciated.

You have to have PCC translated and notarized to certify that it is a true copy
