Police clearance certificate necessary or not for PR for protected person?

I did not spend 6 months in row in my country form last 10 years. So I need or not? Any body guide

As a protected person applying for Permanent Resident in Canada. Police clearance certificate is not required from the country which you (the applicant) sought protection.
